Frequently asked
questions
Our students often have similar questions about the course. You may also find helpful answers here – if not, please feel free to contact us directly.
How many hours we manage to do per day depends on the wind and weather conditions. On average we do between two and four hours a day.
If you already have your own material, you are welcome to bring it with you to the course. Otherwise, we will provide everything we need.
No. The kite is attached to the so-called harness at your waist, so that the kite’s pull is distributed across your entire body. This means you have your arms free to steer the kite in a relaxed manner.
With the necessary knowledge, the right choice of material and a good self-assessment, kiting is not dangerous. You will learn all of this in our course.
If we can't practice on the kite, we will use the time for theoretical knowledge, answer your questions and complete the VDWS license exam.
If the conditions will not be suitable for the course, it will be postponed to another day. We’ll only bill for the hours/sessions that we actually held.
